They say everything around you changes when you meet ‘the one’. They always talk about the way time slows down when you finally see ‘the one’. They talk about the way everyone and everything but your ‘one’ simply fade into nothingness.

It’s always said that you will immediately know your ‘one’ is absolute perfection, that your life will never again be the same without them.

It’s no different for Vivian when she first lays eyes on him that morning, playing his guitar on the sidewalk across the street. It isn’t until she’s staring at the beautiful young man that she realizes they were all right. Time did slow down. Everything else did fade away. She really did know he was perfect. She has finally found her ‘one’ after so many years of looking, and he has been just across the way this whole time.
